Mike and I had a conversation today about promoting velvetpanda. Along with ideas like giving artists plush pandas, we started having a discussion of how to make the website more interactive.
To Mike's credit, he's trying to make the site cool. To me, it's an exercise in developing yet-another-gimmick for a website. The last thing the web needs is another guestbook. Anyways, I think we're going to implement a series of rotating graphics that will spontaneously flash, giving the site a little more flare. I just need to find some "Under Construction" GIF's from the mid 90s.
